CARE Somalia Program seeks to recruit a highly competent, proactive and self-driven person to fill the position of Executive Assistant to the Country Director to be based in Nairobi.
Position
 
Under the guidance and direct supervision of the Country Director, the Executive Assistant will ensure effective and efficient functioning of the Country Director’s office, full confidentiality in all aspects of assignment, management of information flow and follow-up on deadlines.

The Executive Assistant to the Country Director will work in close collaboration with Core Leadership Team and the Senior Management Team to ensure efficient flow of information, actions on instructions and agendas. 
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities;
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and/or National Diploma in Business Management with experience that demonstrates similar capacity. 
  • 3 years of experience in a similar position
  • Must have high level of diplomacy and ability to keep confidential information.
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Should exercise high level of interpersonal skills, excellent organisational skills and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to collect, synthesize and report information including recommendations for action
